Laser vaginal tightening is a minimally invasive treatment to tighten the vaginal walls, usually done to enhance sexual pleasure, restore tissue tone, and increase lubrication. Vaginal tightening also strengthens the supporting ligaments surrounding the bladder and urethra to reduce the symptoms of stress urinary incontinence. During the procedure, the doctor uses a laser device to emit laser beams that penetrate into the vaginal wall to reach the level where collagen is formed. This enhances collagen production to tighten the vagina. Laser vaginal tightening is usually done on an outpatient basis.
