Stretch Mark Removal

Stretch marks appear due to a breakage in the middle layer of our skin, usually due to sudden weight gains, growths, hormones, or reactions to certain medications. Stretch marks are very common after pregnancy, too. C-sec Scars can be flat, hypertrophic, or keloid. Hypertrophic scars grow within the scars, whereas keloid scars grow out from the original scar. The most effective treatment for stretchmarks is laser treatment. The laser creates micro-injuries on the skin, allowing the delivery of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) into the middle layer of the skin. PRP is made from the patient’s own platelets and fibrin and plays a role in enhancing the “growth factors” that activate and rejuvenate cells in our body. Both these steps stimulate the regeneration of collagen and improve the healing of stretch marks.

Diseases and Conditions
  • Stretch Marks
Technologies
  • Fractional CO2 Laser
The fractional CO2 laser is a medical aesthetics technology that can treat several skin conditions like dull skin, wrinkles, fine lines, and skin texture and tone without any discomfort or inconvenience of long treatment duration.
  • Nd-YAG Laser
Nd-YAG Laser, also known as YAG Spectra Laser, is a technologically-advanced non-ablative laser that can be used to treat several different skin conditions, like facial thread veins, dull skin, sagging skin, and excessive hair growth.
  • Radio Frequency (RF)
  • Pico Laser
  • Thermage®
Thermage® is used for skin tightening and contouring. It uses a deep-heating radiofrequency technology to penetrate into the deepest layers of the skin to stimulate the formation of collagen, the protein in our body that helps in anti-aging. Thermage® therapy can help to treat wrinkles, refine skin texture, and lift the face. It is usually used for treating Crow's feet, crepey eyelids, droopy eyes, and eye bags, fine lines and wrinkles, facial sculpting and shaping, sagging facial skin, and loose skin under the chin.
  • BTL X-Wave
  • Transcutaneous Mesodermic Therapy (TMT)
Transcutaneous Mesodermic Therapy (TMT) is a facial therapy that uses electromagnetic waves to firm the skin and reduce cellulite, stretch marks, skin discoloration, and pigmentation.
  • Dermapen™
  • Enlighten™ PICO Genesis™
  • PicoSure®
PicoSure® represents the cutting-edge type of laser technology known as short-pulse lasers. These lasers are designed to “flash” incredibly quickly, in PicoSure®’s case in trillionths of a second. This rapid flashing minimizes the amount of heat and creates a photomechanical effect that’s highly effective in removing tattoo ink and unwanted pigment. PressureWave™ technology is applied by using a unique wavelength of light (755nm) and a specialized lens to convert laser energy into gentle pressure. This pressure squeezes cells, activating the natural cell signaling processes that create new collagen and elastin without burning or damaging the skin. PicoSure® doesn’t rely on heat to burn away and destroy skin to force the body to heal. PicoSure®’s ultra-fast pulses and specialized wavelengths work together to minimize the amount of heat that is transferred. Less heat means less damage to surrounding skin and less risk of injury.
